About The Plat Maps
- The Digital Plat Map application brings together Trust Lands business and spatial data sources to
provide users access to detailed contract and ownership data. It is a publicly accessible web
based map that is meant to replace our paper plats for displaying active contracts and ownership records.
- The web mapping application is organized according to Trust Lands Business System ownership structure
(Surface, Oil & Gas, Coal and Other Minerals - the Plat Maps), with the addition of a General map. Each Plat Map
has its own map tab and its own contract data layers that are tied to the ownership theme.
- The home page for the Plat Maps gives you several options as to how to enter the web map.
You can open a statewide map or search for a specific location (Township/Range,
Place name, or a Contract) to zoom directly to that area.
- The Trust Lands contract and ownership data that are served out on these maps are updated on a daily basis
and show information from our legacy Business System.
Detailed information is available from
the Plat Maps and is scale dependent. You need to zoom in to 1:100,000 scale to see the information
(5th bar down from the top of the Zoom slider bar).
There are also links to contract reports and documents and ownership reports from the selected record's detail window.
